The Cooroy ‘Australian Body Art Festival” brings together to most talented body artists in Australia and shows off the natural beauty in the surrounding areas of Cooroy and Noosa Hinterland.  This Festival is in the Top 40 arts and Culture Festivals in Australia. It not only offers spectators to see the talent of body artists but as well as fashion music and other kinds of entertainment. This festival is family-friendly and invites people from all over the county and all over the world to come and spectate.

 

As a part of a university project, I had to create a Bumper, Social and Title Video that represent this festival. The overall theme I choose for this festival was the theme of "Our Natural Beauty". This was to emphasise the natural beauty within nature, people and cultures. The festival describes itself as a “festival of colour and entertainment that sparks the imagination”, I think colour is very important for this festival so I embraced the use of bold captivating colours. I also mix real up-close videos of bodies and body parts and then use and animate digital graphics to emphasise the body art. As this festival is all about imagining the impossible and embracing your creativity I would like to explored using abstract shapes to emphasise this element of the festival.
